Shotpong
Shot Pong is a popular party game. But even at the best parties, arguments and fights can arise. To ensure your evening runs smoothly and fairly, you can download our Shot Pong rules.
Feel free to print them out, hang them on the wall, or rub them in your gaming partners' faces during arguments.
Preparation
There are two teams. Each team has 10 shot cups on the shot pong board. These are filled with the liquid of your choice. Each team has a catapult with a ball attached to it via a string. The catapult is attached to the board. Then the game can begin!
The teams take turns shooting, trying to hit the opposing team's cups using the catapult. Each team gets one shot. It's important that the catapult is used for the shot. If a cup is hit, the other team (the team whose cup was hit) must drink it and put it away.
Regulate
Gentlemen: No fingering or blowing! Once the ball is in the cup, no defense is possible!
Rerack: If 6, 3, or 1 shot cup remain, the cups are stacked to form a perfect pyramid. If the number of shot pong cups is different, rearranging is not possible.
Sudden Death: If a cup is not completely drunk during the game and is hit by an opponent, the entire game is lost
Types of throws
2 Pointers: If the two players hit two different cups, the opposing team must drink both. In addition, the players get their two balls back and can both throw again.
3 Pointer: If both players hit the same cup, a total of 3 cups must be drunk. The team that hit the cup can decide which two additional cups must be drunk. In this case, both players also get their balls back!
Bouncer: Unlike in Beer Pong, if the ball lands on the Shot Pong board, it cannot be blocked. However, a potted shot only counts as one cup.
End of the game
Once all of a team's cups have been hit, the game is over. But fair play! Even the losers get another chance!
Redemption: If the last cup is hit, the losing team gets another shot. They get two shots, one per player.
Overtime: If the redemption is successful, the cards are reshuffled! Two pyramids of three are placed next to each other in the middle of the table.
Our specials
On Fire: If someone hits three times in a row, they're on fire. They can keep throwing until they miss again.
Iceland: If a cup is standing alone, with no neighboring cups, "Iceland" may be announced. However, each player may only announce this once during the entire game. If the standing cup is hit after the announcement, the opposing team must drink an extra cup. However, if the player hits one of the other cups, the hit does not count.
