Flunkyball Equipment
You don’t need much for the Flunkyball drinking game:
- At least 2 players (the more, the more fun)
- PET bottle (e.g. a water bottle)
- Ball (or another object suitable for throwing, such as a shoe)
- Beer
Preparation
The PET bottle is placed in the center of the playing field . The players split into two teams and position themselves at the same distance from the bottle . All players place their beer on the ground in front of them.
Rock, paper, scissors is used to decide which team goes first. Now the game can begin!
How to play
One player throws the ball at the bottle in the middle and tries to knock it over . If the bottle falls over, the team that threw the ball can start drinking their beer.
But be careful! The beer may only be touched after the bottle has fallen over.
The other team is allowed to run during the time limit and must set up the bottle again and retrieve the ball as quickly as possible. As soon as the team is back behind the line of play, they call "STOP" and the throwing team must stop drinking.
Then the other team throws. The team that finishes all its beers first wins. Once your beer is empty, you must hold it above your head as proof.
If a player's beer is knocked over, he or she will receive an additional penalty beer !
Our conclusion
Flunkyball is a great all-rounder and a popular outdoor drinking game. It's especially fun with larger groups.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
Throwing technique: This one requires accuracy. Ideally, you'll hit the bottle exactly in the center.
Speed: Here you have to sprint as fast as possible to put the bottle back up when an opponent hits it.
Drinking ability: Flunkyball will put your drinking ability to the test. You should drink your Flunkyball beer quickly ! 😉
So what are you waiting for? The next Flunkyball Championship can certainly come!
Cheers and don't overdo it! 🍻
