Drinking game Jenga
Everyone has known Jenga since childhood as a skillful and often frustrating team game. Admittedly, the game quickly becomes boring, and you haven't played it for years. To breathe new life into this old game, we've created a drinking game based on it. Here you can find out how to transform this family-friendly board game into a Jenga drinking game that will make every evening a success.
If you don't feel like making your own Jenga drinking game because you want to start playing right away, you'll find the perfect game here: our ingenious Becheren.
If you don’t know Jenga yet, here are the key facts again:
- The word “Jenga” comes from Swahili, the most widely spoken language in East Africa, and means something like “to build”
- The game was invented and first published in Great Britain in 1983, it found its way onto the German market in 1989 and has since become one of the most popular community games
- The game can be played with two people
- The game consists of approximately 60 individual rectangular wooden blocks, three of which are placed next to each other, followed by three more blocks at a 90-degree angle, and so on, until you finally have 20 layers.
- Then, each player takes turns trying to remove a stone from the tower. Since this is a game of skill, this can only be done with one hand and, of course, without the use of any auxiliary materials.
- When this is done, the stone is placed on top of the tower and the next player takes a turn. The player who causes the tower to fall loses the game.
