Drinking games for two people

Fun drinking games you can play with two people

Since the coronavirus pandemic, drinking games for two have become increasingly popular. So, if you want to get drunk with your partner or best friend, you've come to the right place! Here you'll find the best and funniest drinking games for two.

1. Higher or lower

This drinking game is a lot of fun and requires a lot of drinking ability!
Plus, you don't need much for this, and most people will have the necessary equipment at home.

This is what you need:

  • Cards (preferably a Skat deck with 32 cards)
  • alcoholic beverages
  • a teammate

Construction:
Shuffle the cards thoroughly and form a deck.

Rules of the game:
The youngest, tallest, or winner of Rock-Paper-Scissors starts guessing. The other player places the deck of cards face down on the table and reveals the first card. The guessing player says whether the next card is higher or lower than the previously revealed card. If the guesser is correct, the other player has to drink; if they are wrong, they have to drink. If they are correct five times in a row, the person asking the question has to take a shot. You can play through the deck or swap cards whenever someone is wrong.

2. I've never

Everyone has played it before, and it's also great for two players! This game is perfect if you want to get to know each other better.

This is what you need:

  • alcoholic beverages
  • a teammate
  • 50 scandalous questions for “Never Have I Ever” – you can find them here

Construction:
All you need is your drink and the “Never Have I Ever” questions and you’re ready to go.

Rules of the game:

4. Who am I

"Who am I" is a fun guessing game where you have to guess who or what you are. It can be played with celebrities, animals, objects, or acquaintances. It's just important to make sure your fellow player knows this person!

This is what you need:

  • two small pieces of paper (preferably two Post-it notes)
  • Pen
  • alcoholic beverages
  • a teammate

Construction:
Both players receive a piece of paper and think of a person/object/etc. for the other player and write it on a piece of paper or a Post-It note. Agree beforehand whether you'll use celebrities, cartoon characters, animals, objects, or acquaintances. Then you stick the note on the other player's forehead.

Rules of the game:
In the drinking game "Who am I?" the goal is to be the first to guess who has a name stuck to your forehead. You can only ask your opponent "yes" or "no" questions. If the answer is "yes," you can continue asking, but if the answer is "no," it's the other player's turn to ask. If the answer is "no," you have to drink!
