Drinking Game No. 2: Quidditch Beer Pong

Harry Potter's beloved sport, Quidditch, with a twist! Quidditch Beer Pong combines beer pong and Quidditch into one fun game. Before you can get started, however, you'll need to get a little creative.

Crafting instructions:
Materials you need:

  • 3 glass bottles
  • 3 round wooden frames e.g. embroidery frames
  • 3 wooden sticks (one long and two shorter)
  • Sand or rice (to weigh down the bottles)
  • Hot glue gun
  • gold spray paint (or a color of your choice)

Beer Pong Accessories:

  • Beer Pong Table
  • Red Cups
  • Table tennis balls

Assembly instructions:

  • Fill the glass bottles with sand or rice
  • Drill a small hole at one end of all three wooden sticks
  • attach the wooden frames to the wooden bars
  • place the wooden sticks in the bottles
  • Attach the wooden sticks to the bottle opening with the hot glue gun
  • spray the Quidditch rings with the gold spray paint

Bonus : spray the ping pong balls with the golden spray paint to make them look like the Golden Snitch

Quidditch Beer Pong Preparation:
First, prepare the cups. Fill them with beer or a beverage of your choice and arrange them in a pyramid along either side of the table. You can play with 6 or 10 cups. Place the Quidditch rings in the center of the table.

Quidditch Beer Pong Rules:
You need two teams playing against each other. Then you can get started! The team that wins Rock Paper Scissors goes first. With each throw, the ball must first land through one of the three Quidditch hoops and then into a cup. Each team always gets two throws. If a cup is hit, the opposing team must empty it. The hit cup is then put away (not back with the still-full cups). If both balls are sunk into the cups, the team gets another throw.

Bonus:
Quidditch Beer Pong offers plenty of scope for further creative rules. You can also add stricter Beer Pong rules, such as the elbow rule. Quidditch Beer Pong also combines well with other drinking games. For example, some rules from the drinking game Kings Cup are suitable, such as the "category" rule. If a cup is hit, the person who threw the cup chooses the Harry Potter category, such as "spells." Then both teams take turns saying a spell until someone can't think of any more. The first team to think of no more has to drink an additional cup.

Drinking Game No. 3: Harry Potter Quiz

Think you know everything about Harry Potter? Then this drinking game is perfect for you! It will test your Harry Potter knowledge. The less you know, the more you have to drink. This drinking game gets increasingly difficult as your level rises, even for pros.

Quiz preparation:
This drinking game requires some preparation from each player . For the Harry Potter drinking game evening, each participant must come up with a few questions before the game. Write the questions you've thought of on a piece of paper, index cards, or your phone.

Agree beforehand whether you'll divide the questions into difficulty levels. It's more fun when there are easier and more difficult questions to answer.

The questions must revolve around the Harry Potter films. Questions about character names, spells, and events/scenes are very popular.

Bonus:
For an even better gaming experience, each player can prepare a PowerPoint with the respective questions.

This is how it works:
Each player needs a drink! Sit together at a table or on a sofa. Now decide on the order in which you will ask the questions. One person starts and reads their first question. All other players write down their answers.

Once everyone has written down their answer, the correct answer is read out. Whoever wrote down the wrong answer has to drink .

After everyone has drunk, it is the next player’s turn to read out their question.

Have fun playing - Cheers 🍻
